Community Revitalization Collective.

The Grove Projects, Inc., has entered into a collective effort to bring revitalization to the 8th Street Corridor. We have partnered with Habitat for Humanity Greater Sioux Falls (HUB), Union Gospel Mission, Smithfield Foods, ARSA, Hellek Construction, and BAM. Working as a collective, each organization brings its expertise to the table. And this is a true blessing because our goal is holistic revitalization.

Wholistic revitalization spans a wide range of community enhancement possibilities, from clean-up to art, construction, infrastructure, collaboration, engagement, and outreach efforts. We must take a broad view of the neighborhood and then lean into the opportunities God reveals to us as benefiting the neighborhood the most, based on our resources and skill sets. Undoubtedly, individual relationships are the most important.

Since our first day hitting the 8th Street Whittier Corridor in Sioux Falls, we have taken multiple tons of garbage out of the neighborhood. On our first outing, we were able to help an elderly woman clean up her home saving her and her large (many generations) family from being evicted.
